Amy Schwartz Phillips, DMD
Dr. Amy (Schwartz) Phillips is a third generation pediatric dentist and is proud to keep the family legacy alive. Delivering comprehensive and continued patient care and forming relationships with her patients and their families is Dr. Amy’s passion. Dr. Amy lives by the advice given to her by her dad, Dr. Schwartz: “treat every child as if he/she were your own.”
Dr. Amy is a graduate of Scotch Plains-Fanwood High School, having played varsity softball and was an enthusiastic member of the many music programs. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Biology with a minor in Health Care Sciences from Lafayette College. While studying abroad in London she was given the opportunity to work in a busy multispecialty dental practice. After attending their master’s program, Dr. Amy earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. While she thoroughly enjoyed all of the subspecialties of dentistry, pediatric dentistry was her favorite. She loves interacting with the children and turning a typically fearful experience of visiting the dentist into a positive one.
Dr. Amy is committed to providing the best patient care possible. She received her board certification in 2015 and continues to be an active Diplomate for the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. She is also a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American Dental Assocation, New Jersey Dental Assocation, Union County Dental Society, New Jersey Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, and the Womens’ Interdisciplinary Study Club. Dr. Amy is a proud mom of two girls, Quinn and Avery. She enjoys spending time with her family, trips to the beach, and baking.
